Tobias August
Co-Founder
Hi, I’m Tobias, a passionate advocate for European integration. I firmly believe that Europe needs to grow closer—economically, politically, and socially. To achieve this, we must make Europe more tangible and part of everyday life, so let’s shape the future together! 🚀💡
Currently, I am pursuing my second master’s degree, focusing on artificial intelligence from a computer science perspective and data protection from a legal standpoint. When I’m not immersed in academia, I love hiking and road cycling—exploring both nature and new ideas on the go.

Now, more than ever, a strong and united Europe is needed. Therefore, I want to help the next genereation of European Leaders to develop their strengths and foster exchange among young people from many different disciplines. I pursue a PhD in Neuroscience at the German Center for Neurodegenerative Diseases in Bonn. Having done research at four different universities in three different countries, I know of the challenges and enormous potential of international collaboration and intercultural exchange. At the YES, I am looking forward to meeting inspiring personalities and to stand up for a diverse, strong and united Europe.
